I was born on the 6th of June 1948 at Bulandzeni Royal Residence in Swaziland. I moved to South Africa in 1957 in order to pursue education. I am an agriculturist by profession, holding a Diploma in Agriculture and a Certificate in Soils Classification. I studied through Lovedale College in Ciskei where many prominent politicians also studied. I spent many of my working years working for the Department of Agriculture until I retired. Being passionate about agriculture, I have continued representing my community in the structures advancing the interest of small-scale farmers.

I decided to join Thembalethu Nkomazi as a director as we share the same vision regarding pursuing community development. The urgent need to respond to the challenges of extreme poverty requires that our people be supported in farming. Thembalethu Nkomazi is a champion for poor people and the sick, and I decided to join the organisation in order to make a contribution in the form of skills, passion, and expertise
